Operator

General Resource Group Pte Ltd (GRG) is a trading company mainly focusing on marketing and physical trading of various mineral oil and services. We are looking for passionate and highly motivated talents to join our team.

Responsibilities:

1.Take responsibility for operation matters of trade transactions including process and documentation.

2.Prepare, negotiate and finalize contract, LC, insurance and charter party.

3.Liaise and interact regularly with ship agents, surveyors and third party vendors, traders and clients.

4.Send vessel nominations and vessel substitutions.

5.Contract management and administration.

6.Coordinate with the finance team to check and reconcile profit & loss items of physical contracts.

7.Manage other ad-hoc shipping and operational activities.

8.Research, validate and resolve customer deductions, billing discrepancies and demurrage calculations.

9.Audit customer data for accuracy. Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting.

10.Assess counterparties’ credit and financial statements.

11.Liaise with bank, ship agents, trade counterparties and internal department to ensure smooth physical operations.

12.Minimize cost and risk of operations.

Requirements:

1. At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

2.At least 2 years’ relevant working experience in trade operation or settlement.

3.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

4.Team player with the ability to work under pressure.

5.Fluent in English and Mandarin.

6.Singaporean/SPR
